Jon Doran
Founder, CEO & Chief Executive Creative Producer
FRACTAL LABORATORIES is founded by Emmy-Award winning Creator and Producer, Jon Doran. For over the past 25+ years and approaching 200+ significant titles and credits to his name, Jon’s creative vision, ingenuity and considerate business acumen have been guiding forces behind incredible storytelling collaborations as well as multiple, nominated and award-winning projects and titles. Doran’s work spans television, documentaries, branded programming, digital activations, concerts, immersive experiences and installations.
​​Starting in 2003, Doran worked alongside Adam Yauch (MCA) and the Beastie Boys
to launch Oscilloscope Laboratories, a groundbreaking film and production company focused on cultural resonance. From film to music videos, DVDs, and nascent internet content, at Oscilloscope, Doran Produced media for the Beastie Boys and their cohort of artists…usually while wearing a lab coat. It was a glimpse into magic, the meaning of innovation and undeniable art...Beastie Boys.
Doran was a Partner at RadicalMedia and was with the firm for 17 years. At Radical, Doran built a significant business with top talent, artists and brands where he pushed the boundaries between Entertainment, Music and Advertising.

​Recent, global hits on Netflix include, “Madoff: The Monster of Wall Street”, “Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich” and “Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes.” Other past notable series include American Express: “Unstaged,” “Park Bench with Steve Buscemi” and “Iconoclasts” along with such immersive/experiential projects as Citizens: “The Living Portrait of NYC.”

Combining the two distinct experiences of Oscilloscope Laboratories and RadicalMedia, Jon launched Fractal Laboratories with a mission to finance and partner with visionary creatives to redefine and transform, not only the business model, but also the modern language of storytelling across entertainment, music and advertising.

Matt Slater
Co-Founder, President & Executive Producer
As President & Executive Producer of FRACTAL PRODUCTIONS, Matt leads and oversees day-to-day operations, supervises projects and managers, and ensures teams function properly while facilitating the company's vision and culture.
Matt is an incredible leader with expertise in the integration and execution of creativity and business. He inspires our team to achieve new heights and create impactful and engaging projects for our clients and partners.
Bringing a wide range of experience across the industry for the past 25 years, his work spans the commercial, experiential, television, music, branded content, and event categories. His rock-steady partnership with Doran over the past many years working with top brands and talent has yielded groundbreaking storytelling including such projects with SC Johnson, Citizens Bank, State Farm and American Express. With a passion for effectively, yet efficiently, developing & producing storytelling from concept through delivery, Matt thrives on the day-to-day challenges the industry has in store. He continues to lead by example and demonstrates his ability to manage, solve and provide meaningful solutions throughout the life-cycle of any partnership or opportunity.

Scott Estill
Chief Growth Officer
Scott leads the FRACTAL LABORATORIES operations. He is at the forefront of driving our company's advancement, expansion and revenue growth. As a strategic leader, Scott works closely with Doran, investors and other members of the executive team to identify and pursue new growth opportunities.
His ability to propose unconventional solutions are highly valued. Scott has also developed an expertise in crafting and executing actionable, grounded strategies, while maintaining alignment across the entire team toward a unified vision. In his view, versatility is key, as the person and the focus to navigate the intricate landscape of market dynamics and emerging trends with dexterity. Investors and partners appreciate Scott's outlook and keen understanding of growth nuance.
Scott also serves as partner at Lancor and runs the New York office. With nearly 20 years of M&A, financial services and executive recruiting experience, Scott serves C-suite and board-level multinational clients within the private equity and family office sectors. He co-leads the North American business which assists private equity funds with originating transactions, appraising potential transactions and sourcing industry experts for pre-acquisition due diligence and finding backable senior management teams.

​Scott is on the NY Board of ACG, a global organization focused on middle-market M&A with 56 chapters and over 14,000 members located around the world. He is also on the Board of BluWave L.P., a provider of value creation resources to private equity backed companies and Unison Advisors, an independent investment manager that specializes in valuation based multi-asset strategies. Scott teaches M&A at ACG / Fordham University and also is a guest lecturer at Columbia Business School.
